Uematsu Nobuo

Nascido em 21 de março de 1959, na província de Kochi, Nobuo é um dos maiores e mais famosos compositores de trilhas sonoras para vídeo games, a qual em pouco ao iniciar a carreira teve participações em trabalhos memoráveis e ajudou junto com os outros a popularizar não só os jogos de vídeo game como a música encontrada nos jogos.
Em 1985, após ter participado como tecladista em muitos grupos musicais, foi convidado por um amigo a participar de um projeto que prometia ser inovador e também a ultima cartada de uma empresa de criação de jogos, o projeto era o tão conhecido jogo Final Fantasy, aonde realmente Nobuo fez sua marca e persistiu por muito tempo como o compositor chefe de muitas músicas da série de jogos dessa franquia.
Entre seus vários trabalhos na carreira, participou de muitos outros projetos famosos, entre eles Romancing Saga, Chrono Trigger, Front Mission, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey e muitos outros, no qual junto com outros artistas famosos fez tornar a arte das músicas de jogos ser admirada e respeitada por muita gente.
Em 2003 iniciou uma banda própria, chamada Black Mages, aonde tocava músicas rearranjadas suas em estilo Rock, lançando três ótimos CDs para alegria e nostalgia de um grande numero de fãs seus.
Atualmente está na banda Earthbound Papas a qual lançou por enquanto um CD, Octave Theory e ainda está ativamente como compositor de musica de jogos eletrônicos, sempre trazendo trabalhos inovadores e de ótima qualidade.
